Cameroun :: The Cl2P Calls For An International Investigation Into War Crimes And Crimes Against Humanity Being Committed In English-Speaking Cameroon

This investigation should no longer be limited to accusations, we must drag the authors and sponsors of these abuses of excessive forces, massacres, and extrajudicial executions before the international courts.

Among them will be prominent senior officers of the army and the supreme Commander of the Cameroonian armies who have put into place rules of engagement so manifestly unlawful that have led to willful killings and openly violating international standards and legal framework applicable to police and other law enforcements officials which is part of international human rights law. It holds that the “intentional lethal use of firearms may only be made when strictly unavoidable in order to protect life.”

It is indeed months that the CL2P called for moderation, respect for the integrity of civilian populations and their property, and then inclusive dialogue … without being heard by the ethno-fascist ideologues of the dictatorship in place who consider this dirty war as an unexpected opportunity to maintain indefinitely the tyrant Paul Biya (85 years, 36 years of rule) in power in the name of an alleged « indivisibility » of the Cameroonian identity.

These recent events also cannot be divorced from the larger picture of the tyrannical regime of Yaoundé who has no ideas besides lethal force to alleviate the many crises facing the country.
Enough is enough!
